Specification: 154 Original Pre-Finished Oak Suffolk doors from Buy It Direct Group, trading as XL Joinery, across 16 plots at Bloomery Way, Maresfield, East Sussex.
The challenge
High-Spec Homes, Where Every Detail Counts
Near the sprawling Ashdown Forest, known for being the home of Winnie the Pooh, is the quintessential town of Maresfield. It is here that Sigma Homes have built another stunning development of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, the essence of luxury, with all the qualities needed for a stunning family home.
As Sigma Homes are synonymous with delivering bespoke properties to a high specification, they have to ensure that even the smallest details are thoroughly considered.
Internal doors are something buyers see and touch in every room. Across the 16 plots with oak doors, Sigma needed 154 doors: 118 standard doors, 34 glazed doors and 2 FD60 fire doors, all to the same standard.
The doors also had to fit the build programme. Rather than arriving all at once, they needed to be ready when each stage of the project was, and stored properly until installation.

To fit in with project lead times, the doors were ordered and then called off in batches, ensuring they were stored appropriately before installation.
