Installation Overview
Access requirements
We would need photos from you (our customer) that show the following
- Access to the site (from the delivery drop off to where the outdoor building will be assembled.)
- Ground and boundaries as to where the outdoor building will sit.
- Road access - as we will most likely be delivering using an 18T wagon, the more information we have, the better it will be for us, yourself (customer) and your neighbours.
Base Requirements
For this product to be assembled successfully, you need to ensure you have a suitable base on which to build on.
The type of base we recommend is
a) Concrete 75mm laid on top of 75mm hard-core
b) Slabs laid on 50mm of sharp sand
Location of your outdoor building
When deciding on the location for your product and the base it is going to be constructed, please ensure the following
- That there is access to all sides for maintenance work and annual treatment.
- The base is level and is built on firm ground to prevent distortion.
- The base is slightly smaller than the external measurement of your product, i.e., the cladding should overlap the base, creating a run for water.
- The floor should be at least 25mm above the surrounding ground level to avoid flooding.
IMPORTANT: Please note the following:
- No internal work is included in the cost.
