Frequently asked questions
Which rug material is easiest to keep clean?
Polypropylene and polyester resist most stains and can often be spot-cleaned with water. Wool is naturally resilient but needs gentler cleaning. Viscose looks luxurious but marks easily, so keep it out of high-traffic rooms.
What size rug for a living room?
Large enough for at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs to sit on it, usually 160 x 230cm or bigger. For a hallway, leave a gap of 10cm or so either side of a runner.
Do rugs arrive ready to use?
Yes, rugs arrive rolled and ready to lay. Some shed fibres or need a day or two to flatten after unrolling, which is normal.
Can we buy on account?
Yes. A trade account gives access to trade pricing, bulk discounts and credit of up to ÂŁ20,000, with a named account manager for repeat orders.
Dressing several properties?
Trade pricing on volume, credit up to ÂŁ20,000 and a dedicated account manager.
