Listing outputs are quoted at ΔT50. At ΔT30, typical of a heat pump system, a radiator gives roughly half that output.

Before you order

  • Size to the heat loss at the system's design ΔT, not the ΔT50 figure.
  • Part L 2021 expects new and replacement wet systems in dwellings to be designed for a maximum 55°C flow temperature where reasonably practicable, which usually means larger emitters.
  • For like-for-like swaps, check the pipe centres. Valves are usually sold separately.
  • Fixed electric heaters must meet Ecodesign (Lot 20): electronic room temperature control plus features such as a timer, open-window or presence detection.

Frequently asked questions

How do we convert ΔT50 output for a heat pump?

Multiply the ΔT50 output by the factor for your system: about 0.75 at ΔT40 and 0.52 at ΔT30, using the BS EN 442 exponent of 1.3. Manufacturers publish exact factors for each model.

Are valves included?

Usually not. Add radiator valves to the order. Approved Document L expects room-by-room temperature control, normally TRVs, when a boiler or heat source is replaced.

What does dual fuel need?

A dual fuel T-piece, an element and a fused spur fitted by an electrician. Some listings include the element; heating elements are also sold separately.

Can you deliver to site?

Yes. We deliver to building sites six days a week, with pallet delivery for larger orders. See delivery options for access and offloading.

Supplying a build or refurb?

Deliveries to site and a dedicated account manager.

No refurbished options available.
