Allow around 60cm of counter per stool and 25 to 30cm between the seat and the underside of the counter.

What height stool do we need?
Measure from the floor to the underside of the counter and leave 25 to 30cm for legroom. Kitchen counters around 90cm usually need a seat height of about 60 to 65cm; bar-height counters around 105cm need about 75cm.
How many stools fit along a counter?
Allow about 60cm per stool, measured centre to centre, so people can sit without knocking elbows.
Does upholstered furniture meet the fire safety rules for lets?
Upholstered furniture supplied in rented or holiday accommodation must meet the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 and carry the permanent label. Check the label and product details on the listing before buying for a let.
