Will this tap work on low water pressure?
Check the minimum pressure on the listing. Many modern mixers need at least 1 bar, which a gravity-fed system with a loft tank may not deliver. For low-pressure systems choose a tap rated for it.
How many tap holes do we need?
A mono mixer needs one hole, pillar taps need two, and a bath shower mixer usually needs two. Wall-mounted taps need none but the pipework has to be chased into the wall.
Are wastes included?
Some basin taps include a click-clack or pop-up waste; many don't. Check the listing, and add a waste if needed.
