Polar U-Series Low-Sugar & Alcohol Compatible Slush Machine - 12 Ltr

The Polar UA044 U-Series is a single-tank commercial slush machine designed for a wide range of frozen and chilled beverage applications. Its 12 Ltr bowl provides useful serving capacity while the U-Series design allows the machine to handle lower-sugar mixtures and alcoholic drinks, making it suitable for applications beyond conventional high-sugar slush.

The digital control system offers four operating modes covering slush, chilled drinks, simple cleaning and stop functions, with seven adjustable slush hardness settings. The machine operates between -12°C and -2°C in slush mode, while the tank lighting can also be controlled to enhance product presentation. The stainless steel construction and APS plastic components provide a practical commercial build, with the bowl and dispensing components designed for removal during cleaning.

Powered by a 435W compressor system using R290 refrigerant, the UA044 measures 940mm high, 610mm wide and 280mm deep, with a net weight of 35kg. It operates from a 220-240V supply and is supplied with a standard UK 3-pin plug. Polar specifies a 2-year parts and labour warranty. Typical freezing time is around 90-120 minutes depending on the drink mixture, starting temperature, ambient conditions and machine settings, so pre-chilling the mixture can help reduce preparation time.
