This rotary ironer finishes flatwork such as sheets, tablecloths and garments for commercial laundries. Its 830mm wide, 160mm diameter roller processes up to 15kg of linen per hour, and the ergonomic design lets staff iron while seated.

Installation and Connection

The HM 16-83 runs from a 13A fused single phase supply, so it plugs into a standard socket. Total rated load is 3.1kW with a 2.5kW heater. It is freestanding, measures H960 × W1050 × D380mm, weighs 40kg and has a maximum floor load of 372N. When not in use it folds away to H1052 × W500 × D380mm. Heat dissipation is rated at 3.1MJ/h.

Day-to-Day Use and Cleaning

Roller speed varies from 2.0 to 4.5m/min to suit different fabrics, with dial and foot pedal control. Aramid needle felt padding gives a consistent finish, an automatic safety finger guard protects the operator, and a cool-down airing bar is fitted. Surfaces are easy to clean and the roller is simple to replace. Maximum noise level is 67dB.
