The Steelmore HLC-300 is a commercial vegetable prep machine that processes up to 300kg of produce per hour, suited to restaurants, pizzerias and central prep kitchens slicing salad items or grating cheese in bulk.
Installation and Connection
It is a countertop unit measuring H510 x W570 x D230mm and weighing 23kg. The machine is fitted with a 13A plug and runs on a 220-240V single phase supply, so no specialist hardwiring is needed. The 550W motor drives the discs at 270rpm.
Day-to-Day Use and Cleaning
Two feed options cover different jobs: a large half-moon hopper for bulk processing and a 55mm cylindrical hopper for uniform slicing. Five stainless steel discs are supplied, two slicers at 2mm and 4mm and three graters at 3mm, 4mm and 7mm. A safety cut-off switch stops the machine whenever the cover or handle is opened. The aluminium alloy housing is easy to sanitise and resists knocks in a busy kitchen.
