Steelmore GCB-48 8 Burner Radiant Gas Chargrill - 160000 BTU 1200mm Wide

The Steelmore GCB-48 chargrill is engineered for high-footfall commercial kitchens, steakhouses, and busy restaurants requiring a high-capacity, reliable grilling solution. This heavy-duty countertop unit delivers a massive 160,000 BTU/hr total heat output, providing the rapid heat recovery needed to maintain consistency during peak service periods. With a generous 1080mm x 545mm cooking area, it allows operators to manage multiple food types simultaneously, significantly increasing kitchen throughput and efficiency.

Built for durability, the 1220mm wide unit features a professional stainless steel front with galvanised sides and back to withstand the rigours of a professional environment. It utilises gas-powered cast iron bar burners positioned specifically to direct intense heat toward the heavy-duty grates for perfect searing and even heat distribution. For total flexibility, the chargrill is supplied for Natural Gas but includes LPG conversion jets in the box, allowing for installation in both fixed premises and mobile catering setups.

Daily operation is made efficient through chrome-coated zinc alloy knobs for precise temperature control and a standby pilot for easy ignition. The design features adjustable cooking grates, allowing chefs to customise the height for optimal heat control depending on the product being grilled. To ensure peace of mind and operational safety, the GCB-48 comes with a 1-year parts warranty and requires a professional installation certificate from a registered commercial gas engineer.
