Steelmore ECB-24SX Countertop Gas Chargrill - 2 Burner 600mm Wide

The Steelmore ECB-24SX is a high-performance countertop Chargrill engineered for professional kitchens, restaurants, and food trucks that require high-temperature grilling and searing. With a total heat output of 60,000 BTU/hr, this 600mm wide unit provides the power and precision needed to achieve authentic grill marks and exceptional flavour profile across a variety of meats and vegetables. Its compact, heavy-duty design ensures that even businesses with limited kitchen space can maintain a high-volume throughput without compromising on cooking quality.

Technical reliability is at the core of the ECB-24SX, featuring a stainless steel front and galvanised sides designed to withstand the rigours of a busy commercial environment. The two independently controlled 30,000 BTU/hr U-shaped burners allow chefs to manage separate cooking zones simultaneously, maximising kitchen efficiency during peak service. For installation flexibility, the unit comes with a free LPG conversion kit, allowing for adaptation to either mains gas or mobile catering setups. Please note that all gas appliances must be installed by a registered commercial gas engineer to satisfy warranty requirements.

The ECB-24SX offers a superior return on investment by combining low-maintenance components with high-level operational control. The heavy-duty cast iron grates are height-adjustable, giving operators optimal control over the intensity of the heat, while the zinc alloy knobs with chrome coating provide durable, tactile feedback. Sanitation is simplified by the inclusion of a large bottom-mounted oil collector and easy-to-clean stainless steel surfaces. Supported by a 1-year manufacturer parts warranty, this gas Chargrill is a reliable and efficient addition to any professional catering setup.
