The battery box is located on the back of the mirror. On top of the battery compartment is a cover, remove the cover then add 8 xAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, then reattach the cover back on. The rocker switch is located on the bottom of the mirror in the centre when hung portrait. Use the rocker switch to turn the mirrors cool light on and off. For optimal performance, we recommend using high-capacity alkaline batteries. Using lower-capacity batteries may reduce brightness and shorten battery life.
