The Sharp R24ATR is a 1900W heavy duty commercial microwave for busy cafes, restaurants and takeaways that defrost, reheat and cook in volume. A dual magnetron system with twin stirrers spreads heat evenly through the cavity.

Installation and Connection

The unit is freestanding and measures H340 x W510 x D470mm, weighing 33.5kg. It can be stacked to save counter space. It is fitted with a 13A UK plug and has a connected load of 2.9kW, so it runs from a standard socket with no hardwiring.

Day-to-Day Use and Cleaning

The flat ceramic base removes the need for a turntable and gives a 330mm x 330mm cooking area with 180mm of interior height, enough for a GN 1/2 container. The programmable touch control panel stores memory settings, offers 11 power levels and includes an express defrost function. The stainless steel interior and exterior wipe down quickly during service, and an interior light is fitted.
