Steelmore BD-850 Chest Freezer with Double Stainless Steel Lids - 850 Ltr

Keep your kitchen moving during high-volume service with the Steelmore BD-850 commercial chest freezer. Ideal for high-footfall cafes, busy restaurants, and catering outlets, this high-capacity unit keeps your frozen ingredients accessible when order tickets pile up. The split double-lid design lets staff retrieve stock quickly without exposing the entire cabinet to ambient heat, keeping food quality consistent and running costs down.

Powered by an efficient cooling system using eco-friendly R290 refrigerant, the freezer connects straight to a standard UK socket with its fitted 13A plug. Mechanical temperature controls let you set precision cooling down to -18°C, while 70mm thick insulation retains cold air efficiently during heavy daily use. Measuring 2315mm (W) x 750mm (D) x 850mm (H), it offers a massive 755 Ltr net usable capacity while maintaining a sensible layout for back-of-house storerooms.

Daily operation is simple and easy to use. The unit comes complete with two removable white wire baskets to keep frequently used stock organised near the top, along with a convenient defrost water drain hole for straightforward maintenance. Six heavy-duty castors make moving the cabinet smooth when cleaning, while external handles with integrated locks keep valuable inventory secure outside operating hours. Upgrade your commercial cold storage with complete peace of mind backed by a 1-year parts warranty.
