Keep your kitchen moving during peak service with the Steelmore BD-550 chest freezer. Designed specifically for high-footfall commercial environments like busy restaurants, cafes, and catering outlets, this unit delivers dependable frozen storage where quick access to ingredients is essential.
Powered by an efficient 260W compressor using eco-friendly R290 refrigerant, the freezer connects to a standard UK socket with its fitted 13A plug. Mechanical temperature controls maintain temperatures down to -18°C, while the high-density insulated body preserves cold air efficiently. Measuring 1465mm (W) x 780mm (D) x 945mm (H), it balances high storage volume with a practical footprint for back-of-house storerooms.
Daily operation is simple and easy to use. Independent double lids allow kitchen staff to retrieve ingredients without exposing the entire cabinet to ambient air, helping manage energy use. The freezer includes two removable wire baskets for stock organisation, heavy-duty castors for effortless movement during cleaning, and integrated lid locks to secure stock overnight.
