Meaco Arete One 6L Low Energy Quiet Dehumidifier
SKU: Arete6L
Quickfind code : 2072168
Product highlights
- Sort out the one room where the damp actually is: Ideal for rooms up to 25m2, it takes 6 litres a day out of the air. Perfect for the bedroom window that runs with water every morning, or the wardrobe that smells musty, rather than a unit built for a whol
- Just 101W, so leaving it on overnight barely registers: Low power consumption at only 101W means you can let it work on a damp room all night instead of watching the clock. Smart Humidity Control tops the room up only when the air needs it.
- It drops to a hush while you are asleep: At 35dB with Night Mode it is quieter than a whisper, so it can deal with overnight condensation beside a bed without keeping anyone awake. The 1.8L tank is light enough to tip out one-handed in the morning.
- Get your washing dry without steaming up the room: Laundry Mode helps to speed up the drying of laundry, pulling the moisture out of the clothes instead of letting it settle on your walls and windows. Useful when the airer has to live in a small room.
- Reliable Meaco build, cleaner air, five years of cover: Comes with a 5-year warranty for peace of mind. A dust filter and a medical grade H13 HEPA filter mean it cleans and freshens the air as it dries it.
Product Description
The details
Arete is the perfect solution to dealing with condensation, mould and damp problems either in the home, in a garage, in an unheated basement, on a boat or in a caravan. All Arete One dehumidifiers come with a medical grade H13 HEPA filter which is 75% larger than the filter on our popular Low Energy models. It can be used to clean the air during dehumidification and as a stand-alone air purifier throughout the spring and summer months.
The control panel on Arete One has simple and clearly laid out controls. The buttons that you use most often are larger; the buttons that you hardly ever use are small. Large buttons include controls for Smart Humidity Control, Night and Laundry Mode either of which can be set by pressing just one button.
The intelligent Meaco control logic means that you get a balance between saving mode operation and accurate dehumidification. When the target relative humidity has been reached, the dehumidifier will switch to fan only mode to check that the relative humidity is stable.

Type
Compressor dehumidifiers have refrigerant mechanisms and are generally less expensive to run. Desiccant dehumidifiers are ideal for colder temperatures as they emit warm air. Peltier dehumidifiers are better suited to smaller spaces like bedrooms and cars.
