Built-in oven specification by sector
On a replacement the housing decides the fit. Plug-in on a 13A supply lets your own team swap it between tenancies.
| Sector | Fit | Oven | Cleaning | Installation | Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 bed lets | Built in | Single | Catalytic | Plug-in, 13A | View range |
| Family lets & HMOs | Built in | Double | Catalytic | Plug-in, 13A | View range |
| Holiday parks & lets | Built in | Double | Pyrolytic | Plug-in or wired | View range |
| Offices & staff kitchens | Built under | Single | Catalytic | Plug-in, 13A | View range |
Building or renovation to a kitchen drawing: the housing is fixed, so choose on finish, cavities and cleaning. Hospitality: domestic ovens aren't built for continuous service.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between built-in and built-under?
Built-in ovens sit in a tall housing at eye level. Built-under ovens fit beneath a worktop. They are different heights and are not interchangeable, so check which the kitchen has before ordering a replacement.
Can our maintenance team fit a built-in oven?
If it is a plug-in model on a 13A supply, usually yes. Hard-wired ovens need a qualified electrician every time, which adds cost to every swap.
Is pyrolytic cleaning worth it in let property?
It depends who cleans it. Where you pay housekeeping or handle changeovers, it removes a slow job and pays back in labour. Where the tenant cleans, catalytic is normally enough.
Can you deliver, install and remove old appliances across multiple sites?
Yes. See delivery options, add installation and book WEEE-compliant recycling of the old unit in the same visit. For phased rollouts we can hold stock against your schedule.
Should we buy the oven and hob together?
If you are replacing both or fitting a new kitchen, an oven and hob pack is usually cheaper than buying separately and gives a matched finish.
Fitting out several kitchens?
Stock held for phased rollouts and a dedicated account manager.
