Frequently asked questions
What temperature should it run at?
Most kitchens set commercial fridges to 5°C or colder. The legal maximum for chilled food in England, Wales and Northern Ireland is 8°C. Check and record temperatures daily.
Do commercial fridges need more ventilation?
Yes, most need clear space around the condenser to reject heat, especially in hot kitchens. Follow the installation guide, and don't box them in.
Can a display fridge be used for storage in the kitchen?
It can, but display fridges are designed for front of house. Solid-door uprights hold temperature better during heavy use.
Can you deliver and remove the old equipment?
Yes. See delivery options and book removal and recycling of old electrical equipment with the order. Gas and hard-wired equipment must be connected by a suitably qualified engineer.
