Most units include the basin but not the tap or waste. Add basin taps and a basin waste to the order.
Frequently asked questions
Does the unit come assembled?
Many do. Look for delivered fully assembled, which saves time on site, especially across several bathrooms. Others arrive flat-packed.
How many tap holes does the basin have?
Most have one, for a mono basin mixer. Check the listing before choosing a tap, and pick a wall-mounted tap for a basin without a tap hole.
What depth do we need?
Measure from the wall to where the door opens or where people walk past. Shallower units of 300 to 400mm help in small bathrooms and cloakrooms.
Wall hung or freestanding for rental property?
Freestanding is simpler to fit and forgives uneven walls. Wall hung looks cleaner and speeds up floor cleaning, but needs a solid wall or a pattress behind the board.
