For your convenience a basin hole is already drilled so you can install the basin with ease. Taps are not included, and the worktop comes with no pre drilled tap holes, giving you the option to use a wall-mounted basin tap, or drill holes to use a tall basin mixer tap - you should use a trained professional to drill the hole.
What are the benefits of sintered stone?
Sintered stone countertops offer a perfect blend of durability, aesthetics, and functionality, making them an ideal choice for your vanity unit.
1. Exceptional Durability: Sintered stone countertops are engineered to withstand the test of time. Made by compacting and fusing raw materials at extremely high temperatures, they are highly resistant to scratches, stains, heat, and impact. This durability ensures your vanity unit maintains its pristine appearance for years to come, even in high-traffic areas like bathrooms.
2. Low Maintenance: Sintered stone countertops are non-porous, making them resistant to water, bacteria, and stains. This means you can easily wipe away spills and messes with just soap and water, keeping your vanity unit clean and hygienic with minimal effort.
3. More Environmentally Friendly: Sintered stone countertops are crafted using sustainable manufacturing practices and natural raw materials, making them more eco-friendly than many other materials. Additionally, their long lifespan and low maintenance requirements contribute to reducing the environmental impact associated with frequent replacements and harsh cleaning chemicals.
4. Resilience to UV Rays: Unlike some natural stone surfaces, sintered stone countertops are resistant to fading and discoloration caused by exposure to sunlight. This makes them a great choice for vanity units that are filled with light.
