Get the power of a real split system without the permanent installation. Delivering 5,000 BTU/h (1.46 kW) of cooling capacity, the PortaCool5K is ideal for effectively cooling rooms up to 18 square metres, like bedrooms or home offices.
3-in-1 Climate Control
Enjoy year-round comfort with dedicated cooling, dehumidifying, and fan-only ventilation modes. It features an electronic touch panel, a full-function remote, sleep mode, a 24-hour timer, and an adjustable swing with two fan speeds.
Ultra-Quiet Indoors
Because the noisy compressor sits in the outdoor half of the unit, you get to enjoy a peaceful indoor environment. With indoor noise levels sitting comfortably at 43 dB(A), it is significantly quieter than standard single-hose portable air conditioners.
Smart Wi-Fi Control
Take complete control of your climate from anywhere. Using the Smart Life or Tuya app on your smartphone, you can easily set schedules, adjust the thermostat between 16–30 °C, and turn the unit on or off before you even get home.
Renter & Caravan Friendly Setup
No drilling, no fixings, and absolutely no expensive engineer required. This factory-coupled, pre-charged system is fully plug-and-play. Simply sit the indoor unit on a windowsill or stable surface, and hang the IP24-rated outdoor unit outside using the supplied bracket. The 1m refrigeration line and 1.9m long power cord easily passes through a window, balcony door, or ventilated corridor.
Energy Efficient & Eco-Friendly
This true split system is vastly more efficient than a single-hose portable because it doesn’t pull warm outside air back into your room. Boasting an Energy Class A rating and an EER of 2.6 W/W, running costs are incredibly low—around 60 pence per day (based on 4 hours of use). It also uses eco-friendly R290 refrigerant with a super low GWP of 3, making it kind to both your wallet and the environment.
