Do illuminated mirrors need wiring?
Mains-powered models do, and should be installed by an electrician to suit the bathroom zone. Battery-powered LED mirrors need no wiring.
How does a demister pad work?
A thin heating pad behind the glass warms the mirror slightly so it doesn't mist up. It usually switches on with the mirror light.
What size mirror do we need?
Usually the same width as the basin or vanity unit, or slightly narrower, hung so the centre sits at eye height.
